What is ZAAM?
Zaam is the first Tech-on-Subscription service in the UAE that allows you to access the latest devices at the best monthly rates. Enjoy subscription perks such as device protection and upgrades. Forget high initial costs and long commitments—ZAAM it, and start using the device right away.
How does Zaam subscription Work?
With Zaam, you can get the latest devices on a flexible subscription plan for 12, 18, 24, or 36 months. The longer you subscribe, the lower your monthly payments will be.
Here’s how it works:
1. Choose your plan: Select a subscription period that works for you.
2. Get started: Create an account and make your first month’s payment.
3.Enjoy your device: Use the device worry-free! It stays protected against damage and is eligible for repairs during your subscription.
Remember, the device remains the property of Zaam, so it must be returned at the end of the subscription period unless you extend or upgrade.
Why is subscribing better than buying?
Subscribing helps you stay current with the latest technology. Buying the newest tech can come with a high price tag and leave you committed to a device before even testing the waters. Zaam allows you to get the latest devices for the lowest monthly rates by paying a monthly subscription fee while we take care of everything else. Additionally, every subscribed device comes with a accidental and liqud damage protection.
How I can check my eligibility to subscribe with Zaam?
You are eligible for a subscription if you fulfill the following requirements.
- Age should be above 21 years old
- You must be a UAE national or UAE resident with valid visa and have a verified UAE Pass account
- You must have an active email address and UAE phone number registered in your name.
- You must have a UAE bank-issued Credit Card or Debit Card.
Remember, subscription approval is not automatic. It's at Zaam's discretion after a thorough review of your application.
Are the subscribed devices covered by a protection service or warranty?
Yes. Zaam believes that users should be able to enjoy the latest devices freely, which is why we provide complete protection against all damages during your subscription period. Subject to Terms & Conditions.
How I can see Zaam's products and services?
Our website, zaam.life, allows you to review all of Zaam’s services channel partner details.
What happens after the completion of the Zaam Subscription Period?
At the end of your subscription period, you can continue your subscription with monthly payments, upgrade your device, purchase the device and keep it forever, or cancel the subscription and return the device to Zaam.

Unable to log-in to Zaam Account?
Logging in to your zaam account is initiated from your UAE Pass. Please check that your details are correctly updated on your UAE Pass. If your UAE Pass information is correct and your are still facing an issue logging in please contact our contact support team.
Changing home address?
During the subscription, you have the option to change your delivery address at any time. You can log-in to our website, zaam.life, and follow the below steps.
- Click on the account and there you will see personal information.
- Click on the 'Edit' option to update your new address.
- Click on 'Save information' to ensure that your new delivery address has been updated.
Need to change email or phone number?
Your email and phone number are connected directly with the your UAE Pass information. To update your email and phone number, you must log in to your UAE Pass and update your details, and it will automatically be updated on your Zaam account.
Want to delete your Zaam account?
You can only delete your account or information deleted, if you do not have any active subscriptions and no pending or overdue amount linked to your account. You can contact our support team for information on account deletion.
How does Zaam protect my personal information?
Your data's security is our top priority. Please refer to our privacy policy regarding collecting and using your information and personal data.
Subscription and Order
How can I subscribe?
Becoming a Zaam subscriber is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
- Choose your preferred device from one of our channel partners' websites or apps (you can find our partners listed on the Zaam.life homepage).
- Complete your purchase on our partner's platform and select Zaam as your payment method.
- Create a Zaam account and provide the necessary details.
- Once your eligibility is confirmed, we will deliver your subscribed device directly to your doorstep.
Your subscription will be activated upon receiving your device, and monthly subscription fees will apply.
What documents are required for a Zaam subscription?
Zaam will not ask you for any documents; your subscription and account are directly linked with your UAE pass.
How does Zaam evaluate my eligibility for a subscription?
Subscription approval will be at Zaam's discretion after reviewing your subscription request. Zaam has a complete internal risk policy, and we coordinate with AECB to check your credit history before approving eligibility for our services.
How many days will it take to receive the device after placing an order?
Our channel partners handle all device deliveries. Customers will receive their devices within the timelines specified on Zaam's channel partners' website or app.
Can I use Zaam’s services outside of the UAE?
Our services are only available in the UAE. If you are already subscribed and you want to avail any repair or damage services, your device should be in the UAE. If you plan to leave the UAE permanently, kindly cancel your subscription and return the subscribed device to Zaam.
Are there any required documents to receive my new subscribed device?
Our partners' delivery team must verify your Emirates ID to receive your newly subscribed device.
My subscription has been suspended. How I can reactive it?
To receive your newly subscribed device, our delivery partner needs to see the valid Emirates ID linked to the subscribed device. Devices will be handed over to the actual subscriber-only.
How can I end my Subscription?
If you want to cancel your subscription, you can do so by providing 7 days' notice prior to your next payment. You must first complete the minimum subscription period, which is half of the total subscription term. Once this minimum period is met, you can log into your Zaam account and select 'Cancel subscription' from the subscription menu.
Can I extend my subscription after the subscription period ends?
Yes. You can keep your subscribed device to long as you like by continuing to pay Zaam the monthly subscription fees.
How many devices can be included in one subscription?
Each subscription is linked to an individual device. Currently, we are offering one subscription per user.
What happens if I don’t return my subscribed device on time?
If the device is not returned by the end of the subscription period, we will automatically renew the subscription for the next month and continue to charge you for the monthly subscription fees.
What happens at the end of my subscription?
At the end of your subscription period, you can continue your subscription with monthly payments, upgrade your device, or cancel the subscription and return the device to Zaam. Zaam makes it easy to stay up-to-date with the latest devices while keeping things simple and flexible! Subscribing to a device is different from owning it. While you can enjoy the device during your subscription, ownership stays with Zaam unless you purchase it at the end of your plan.
Can I get multiple subscriptions for my friends and family?
Each subscription is linked to an individual device. Currently, we are offering one subscription per user. It will be announced once this feature is available.
Devices and repairs
Are all the devices brand new?
Yes, you will receive an entirely new unopened device that is still in its original packaging. None of the devices you subscribe to are used.
Are all the devices genuine?
We use 100% genuine devices.
What happens to the device after the subscription period ends?
Once we collect your old device, we give it a new life cycle by passing it on to someone else.
Can I upgrade or replace my device?
You can upgrade your device to any of our existing listings after the minimum subscription period (half of the total subscription period) by giving us notice. To make a request, you must log into your Zaam account and use the 'Upgrade Device' option. During the upgrade process, you must pay the new subscription fees for the upgraded devices and any other remaining fees connected to the earlier subscribed device.
How can I report a damage to the subscribed device?
Reporting device damage is a breeze when you sign in to your Zaam account. Here's a simple guide to follow.
- Click the 'Report Damage' option on your subscription on the account page
- Select the type of damage and the detailed information about the fault or issue related to the device.
- Set the device's pick-up date, time, and location. Once the damage report is initialised, repair administration charges will be charged to your account.
Our team will then collect the device and ensure its timely repair.
What happens if I damage my device?
Your device is eligible for our protection service as long as the damage was not intentional (subject to terms and conditions). Once the damage report is submitted, we will come and pick up the subscribed device and repair it for you.
What type of device protection is under my subscription?
Once you agree to the terms and conditions at the time of subscription the protection services will automatically apply.
- If the device experiences unexpected physical damage that is not intentional and impacts its complete performance, it is eligible for our protection services.
- If the device suffers water damage, it is eligible for our protection services.
What is the number of repairs I am eligible for under my subscription?
As long as you have an active subscription, you are covered for any in-warranty or accidental damage throughout the whole subscription period, subject to terms and conditions.
Do I need to pay for the repair or replacement cost?
You do not need to pay the full repair or replacement cost; we only charge you a small admin fee to initiate the service request. If the device is unrepairable, we will issue you a replacement device and charge a replacement fee subject to terms and conditions. In case the device is unrepairable, then we will issue you a new fully working device and will charge a replacement fee subject to terms and conditions.
What happens if my Zaam device gets lost or stolen?
The subscribed device is not covered for loss or theft. When loss or theft of the device occurs, you agree to inform us immediately and acknowledge and confirm that you will be responsible for any charges due under your active subscription.
Billing and payments
How do I pay for my subscription?
Payments will be made using a Credit Card or Debit Card issued by a UAE bank and will be done prior to every month of subscription.
What is the billing cycle of my subscription?
Initially, subscription fees will be charged at the time of processing your subscription request. Subsequent payments will then be due on the same day each month for the duration of your subscription.
How can I update my payment method or details?
Log-in to your Zaam account and select “Account Details”. You will find a payment method update option under the payment details section. You can update your payment details, but keep in mind that the payment method can only be a UAE bank Credit Card or Debit Card.
Where can I see my payment history?
Sign in to your Zaam account and click on 'Payment Plan'. You will be able to see all the payments made under your Zaam subscription and all the future scheduled payments.
What happens if I am late on the monthly subscription payments?
Zaam always recommends that our subscribers make their monthly subscription payments on time to avoid any inconvenience or service suspension, as it will also directly impact your AECB credit score.
Do I get an invoice for my monthly payments?
Zaam will share an electronic confirmation email of all your completed monthly payments. You can also download your invoice from your Zaam account after logging into your Zaam account.
Can I change my billing cycle?
Your billing cycle dates cannot be modified because they are connected to your subscription’s starting date.
Can I make my payments via debit card or direct transfer?
Zaam will only accept payment via UAE bank Credit Cards or Debit Cards. You can add a backup payment method with an additional card to avoid any payment delay. The UAE bank card used should be under the name of the subscriber.
