What is ZAAM?
ZAAM is a subscription service in the UAE allowing you to access devices for the best monthly rates while enjoying membership perks such as device protection and upgrades. Forget about high initial costs and years of commitments- ZAAM it and the device is yours.
Why choose ZAAM?
Buying the latest tech can come with a high price tag and leave you committed to a device before even testing the waters. ZAAM gives you the option to get all the devices you want for cheaper by paying a monthly subscription fee while we take care of everything else. We even cover 90% of all repair costs if you damage your device during your subscription period and give you the option to upgrade your device’s model, storage, or color anytime.
How does subscribing work?
Customers have the option of subscribing to any device for either 1, 3, 6, or 12 months - the longer the plan the lower your payments. Once you select your term period you will then register for an account and begin your subscription by starting off with the first month’s payment. At the end of your minimum subscription period, you can either extend your current plan, upgrade/ switch to another device or cancel your subscription and schedule a free pick-up of your device. If you wish to buy the device, simply pay the remaining balance left in your account, and voila!
Do you have a physical store?
We don’t have a physical store as we are only an e-commerce platform for the time being. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us via email, phone, or WhatsApp.
My Subscription
Can I own the device?
You can own your device anytime by simply logging into your account and paying the remaining balance left on your device’s full price plus a small admin fee of either AED 50 for accessories, AED 150 for Apple Watches, or AED 250 for phones/tablets/laptops.
Can I subscribe if I don’t live in the UAE?
You must be a UAE resident in order to subscribe to ZAAM.
What documents are required to subscribe?
You will need to present a valid Emirates ID and UAE credit card in order to be eligible for a ZAAM subscription.
Why do you need a copy of my Emirates ID?
This is as per our Terms and Conditions to verify that you are a UAE resident.
Can I upgrade/downgrade my subscription?
Subscribers can upgrade to any like-for-like device anytime during their subscription period (subject to availability). As soon as you receive your upgraded device, you will start being billed for your new subscription and your previous monthly rates will immediately be cancelled.
Downgrades however are prohibited during your subscription period. Subscribers must wait until the end of their term before being able to swap out their current devices.
Can I cover multiple devices in one subscription?
1 DEVICE = 1 PLAN
You must create a new subscription plan for each device you use with ZAAM.
Can I swap my device to another during my subscription period?
You can swap out your device for another during your subscription period in one of three ways: if it is the same device but different color, if you wish to upgrade to a higher storage, or if you wish to upgrade the device’s model (ex. from iPhone 13 to iPhone 13 Pro).
Am I covered for repairs?
You only need to cover 10% of the repair cost, we handle the rest!
Do I have to worry about signs of use?
We want you to enjoy your devices as though they were yours. Small scratches and normal signs of use will be cleaned after return for free. In case of severe damages, such as cracked screens, we will cover 90% of the repair costs.
What happens if my device is lost/stolen?
If you lose your device during your subscription, you must purchase the device and pay the remaining balance shown in your account when you log in
Is my subscription transferable?
No. The subscription is attached to you as an individual. You cannot sell or give away your device or subscription plan.
Can i use the device outside UAE?
Yes! You only need to be in the UAE at the beginning and end of your subscription in order to receive the device at the start of your subscription and return it once your subscription period has ended.
If I’ve paid off the device’s full price within my subscription, do I own it?
Yes! If you’ve renewed your device subscription multiple times and eventually paid off its full price, you’ll receive an email notifying you that you officially own the device. Your plan will automatically end, and you’ll no longer be charged for the remainder of your subscription period.
Manage Account & Settings
How can I check my subscription term?
Sign in to your account then click on the ‘My Subscription’ tab in the menu bar. There you will see your entire subscription plan, including your start date and minimum subscription period you have chosen.
How can I extend my subscription?
Should you wish to extend your subscription, simply log in to your account and select the new monthly subscription period you wish to extend to, and your plan will immediately regenerate after the first month’s payment is complete.
How can I swap out my device?
Simply contact us to schedule a date and time for our driver to come collect your old device and complete an evaluation of your device’s condition before swapping it out for a new one.
Please note: You can swap out your device for another during your subscription period in one of three ways: if it is the same device but different color, if you wish to upgrade to a higher storage, or if you wish to upgrade the device’s model (ex. from iPhone 13 to iPhone 13 Pro).
How do I purchase the device?
If you wish to purchase the device, simply log in to your account and click on the “Keep it Forever” option found under your subscription page. Then you will have to pay the remaining balance left in your account plus a small admin fee of AED 50 for accessories, AED 150 for Apple Watches, or AED 250 for phones, tablets, or laptops.
How do I return the device after my subscription?
You can return your device by logging into your account and selecting the “Return Your Device” tab found under your subscription page. You will then be able to schedule a preferred date, time, and location you would like for us to pick-up your device at the end of your subscription. Before returning your device, please make sure to back-up your device’s data, log out of any accounts, and remove all personal data, including passcodes.
How can I update my payment info?
Sign in to your account then click on the ‘Account Details’ tab in the menu bar. You can update your payment information there.
How can I cancel my subscription?
Sign in to your account then click on the subscription page you wish to cancel. From there you will be able to select an option labeled “Cancel my subscription”.
If you choose to cancel before your subscription ends, your subscription will be adjusted to the closest subscription term available to your cancellation date and you will be charged on a prorated basis.

Is the device sim-free?
All our devices are sim-free.
Are all devices unlocked?
All devices are unlocked.
Are all devices brand new?
Yes, you will receive an entirely brand-new device that is unopened and still in its original packaging. None of the devices you subscribe to are used.
Are all devices genuine?
We use 100% genuine devices.
What happens to my device after my subscription?
Once we collect your old device, we give it a new life cycle by passing it on to someone else.
If there’s an issue with the device, can i return or replace it?
If you’re facing any issues with the device that does not include accidental damages, please contact us. We will assess the device and either repair or replace it for free.
Delivery & Returns
How long do you take to deliver? Is delivery free of charge?
Delivery will be within up to 3 working days and is free of charge.
What documents do I need to receive my device?
You will need to present a valid Emirates ID or passport to our driver to receive your package.

How do I return my device after my subscription?

What happens if I’m late to return my device?
You will have up to 7 working days to return your device after your subscription has ended. If you were unable to return the device in time, you will automatically be charged an extra month.
Do I need to delete my data before returning the device?
You must back up your device, log out of any accounts, and remove all personal data and items including passcodes, accessories and sim cards before returning your device. Once complete, please make sure to reset or restore your device in order to erase all data completely.
Should I keep the device’s original packaging?
In an effort to increase our old device's lifecycle for as long as possible it would be great if you could return your device back with its original packaging to help continue its journey within the circular economy.
Don’t worry if you’ve lost the original packaging, it is not mandatory for returns!
How do I schedule a pick-up/return of my damaged device?
Sign in to your account and select the subscription of the device you need repaired. From there, you will be able to select a “Damage Report” option which will allow you to schedule a preferred date, time, and location of where you would like us to pick-up your damaged device.
Smartphone users will be given the option to receive a complimentary loaner device to enjoy until your device has been repaired and delivered back to you.
Payments
What are the payment methods?
We accept all types of UAE based credit cards
How does payment work?
You are billed monthly until the end of your minimum subscription period. The day you begin your subscription will start the beginning of your subscription cycle.
Are debit card installments accepted?
We currently only accept credit card installment payments.
Can I use the same credit card for more than one subscription?
As long as you are using a valid UAE credit card, you can use the same card for multiple different subscriptions.
Do you offer free trials?
We do not offer free trials. In order to begin your subscription and receive your device you will need to complete the first month’s payment with your UAE credit card.
If I’ve paid off the device’s full price within my subscription, do I own it?
Yes! If you’ve renewed your device subscription multiple times and eventually paid off its full price, you’ll receive an email notifying you that you officially own the device. Your plan will automatically end, and you’ll no longer be charged for the remainder of your subscription period.
Will my subscription rate change overtime?
Your subscription rate will not change within your term.
